Notice regarding the transition to a certified broadcasting holding company structure

TV Asahi Corporation completed its transition to a certified broadcasting holding company structure today, and changed its trade name to TV Asahi Holdings Corporation. The Successor Preparatory Company changed its trade name to TV Asahi Corporation, and succeeded to all businesses excluding the group management business of the former TV Asahi.

As the sole owner of the terrestrial, BS, and CS broadcasting operators (TV Asahi, BS Asahi, CS One Ten), TV Asahi Holdings Corporation will further integrate operations of the 3 broadcast media, and will maximize content value. It will also seek to maximize group value by concentrating the group's strategic function in a single entity, and by expanding into new business domains.
