Basic Policy regarding Information Security

The TV Asahi Group (hereinafter “the Company”) positions the appropriate protection, management, dissemination and distribution of information an important component of its businesses. As a protective measure against information loss, leakage, misuse and other risks and to continuously earn trust from all parties concerned including the audience, the Company establishes the Basic Policy regarding Information Security (hereinafter “the Policy”), and all organizations in the Company shall work on information security in accordance with the Policy.
1．Establishment of Information Security System
The Company shall establish an information security management system and work towards the maintenance and improvement of information security.
2．Compliance with Laws and Regulations
The Company shall comply with laws and regulations, government guidelines, and other norms relevant to information security.
3．Protection of Information Assets
In order to protect information assets from external attacks and other threats, the Company shall implement information security measures and work on security management.
4．Education and Training for Information Security
The Company shall carry out regular learning activities for all its officers, employees and all relevant parties engaged in its operations with the aim of enforcing and improving information security.
5．Response to Emergencies
In the event of an information security incident, such as information leakage, the Company shall respond promptly to minimize its damage, and shall strive to determine the cause and prevent recurrences.
6．Continuous Improvement
In response to changes regarding information security and amendments to laws and regulations, the Company shall regularly review and improve the Policy and relevant in-house regulations.
